Foundations

• I will start homework in time to finish it.

Basics

• I will start homework in plenty of time to finish it.
• I will start class work when I am asked to.
• I will look to my neighbors for examples when I do not understand what to do.
• When working in groups, I will start working as soon as there is an opportunity.
• I will not pack up my materials before the teacher announces that class is over.

Advanced

• I will start homework at the first opportunity, assuring time for corrections.
• I will start class work as soon as I understand what to do.
• I will listen to instructions intently so that I know what to do, then I will look to my neighbors to be sure they understand what to do.
• I will use the end of class to finish or get started on work that may be due not only for the class I am in, but also other classes as well.
