Organizational Skills

Foundations

• I will not rip any paper out of its bindings or binder.
• I will not crumple up or throw away papers after they are given back to me.
• I will take a bag home and bring it back to school every day.
• I will keep a folder or binder that I take home and bring to school continually.
• Place all items I may need at a later date carefully in my bag or binder.
• I will keep with me the things I need to organize my work.
• I will use my locker only, not put my things in the lockers of others.

Basic

• I will put all papers given back to me in my folder or binder, not stuff it in my bag or leave it in my book. 
• I will set aside time once a week or so to organize my work by classes. 
• I will continually carry a bag and a binder.

Advanced

• I will set up subsections for each subject so that each item of work has a place.
• I will automatically put items of work in the appropriate section and subsection in my organizational scheme.
• I will set aside time each week to assure that all items are in the appropriate place.
• I will help disorganized students get more organized.
