Responsibility
Foundations
- I
will bring the necessary supplies to school (textbooks, binders,
backpacks, etc.)
- I will
schedule trips to my locker when necessary
- I will
reduce the amount of time I chat with my friends in between classes
- I will
get out my work, notebook, and binder and put my bag on the floor under
the desk when my teacher asks me to do so
- I will
wake up in time to get to first period
- I
will listen attentively when the plan for the day is announced by the
teacher
- I
will read any written instructions thoroughly
- I
will not miss class for unexcused reasons
- I will
not throw away or leave behind any work or handouts
Basics
- I
will keep basic supplies with me at all times (pens, pencils, grading
pencils, paper, binders, etc.)
- I
will get to class on time
- I
will get out my work, notebook, and binder and put my bag on the floor
under the desk when at the beginning of class
- I
will wake up in time to do my morning routine at a reasonable pace
- I
will listen attentively when instructions are given for each assignment
- I
will show my progress reports, major test grades, and report cards to my parents
- I
will reduce my late evening activities to a minimum in hopes of going to
sleep earlier
- I
will keep all work and handouts together
Advanced
- I
will keep miscellaneous supplies that I may need with me at all times
(markers, map pencils, scissors, tape, white out, Kleenex, etc.)
- I
will get to class a few minutes early so that I can be prepared when the
bell rings
- I
will get out my work, notebook, and binder and put my bag on the floor
under the desk before the beginning of class and if anyone around me is
not prepared I will give them an ugly look
- I
will wake up early enough so that I can do my morning routine with time to
spare (just in case)
- I
will ask any questions about instructions at the appropriate time
- I will
listen attentively when the teacher or other students are presenting
- I
will ask a classmate about instructions on what we are supposed to do or
how we are supposed to do it at the appropriate time
- I
will openly communicate with my parents about my progress on a daily basis
- I
will get the appropriate amount of sleep so that I can be alert during
school
- I
will keep all my work and handouts in an organized manner
